zipForms Plus is Now Lone Wolf Transactions (zipForm Edition)

About a year ago, zipLogix (the parent company for zipForms Plus) was purchased by, and merged into, Lone Wolf Technologies. The product you know and use regularly remains the same. Only the branding is changing. As of July 10th, zipForm Plus/zipTMS will be known as Lone Wolf Transactions (zipForm Edition).
You’ll see the new name cropping up in various places, including within their products, on their site, and in their support channels. Suburban West will also update the references on its website.

Face Masks Required Throughout the State

The PA Supreme court has ruled that the Pennsylvania General Assembly does not have the unilateral right to terminate Gov. Wolf’s emergency declarations issued in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
For Realtors®, this means that the regulations and procedures issued by the governor relating to real estate activity remain in effect and should be complied with. This includes the immediate expansion of the requirement to wear a face covering announced on July 1st.
PAR’s Suggested Best Practices in the Age of COVID-19 continue to be a valuable resource for brokerages during this time.

Webinar: Working With Clients Safely, Effectively and Remotely

While in-person real estate activities are now permitted, some clients still may prefer to work with you remotely. Our upcoming Webinar: Working With Clients Safely, Effectively and Remotely (July 16th; 12:00pm-1:00pm) will provide Realtor® members with guidance for working with clients via virtual platforms. Join Suburban West member and NAR Tech Edge founder Bill Lublin as he discusses: (1) Zoom best practices (2) tactics to help you meet effectively with buyers and sellers and (3) preparing, reviewing and executing documents. ARS Now Offering Live Continuing Education Courses Before Renewal Deadline

In-person activities are beginning to become an option as the state moves through the phases of recovery from COVID-19. The Association of Realtors® School is excited to announce that it will host live in-person classes in Blue Bell beginning this week and Malvern beginning on July 20th. Click here for our summer continuing education schedule. Please note that safety protocols will be in place for live classes and students will be notified of these instructions via email.
For license renewal, which must be completed on or before August 29th, 2020, licensees can also take traditional online education through our online partner, Mbition Learn Real Estate.  Another option, available courtesy of a temporary waiver granted by the Department of State, allows us to offer live streaming zoom courses. The Association of Realtors® School has scheduled virtual zoom classes in July. Registration is required for all continuing education options.
Do you have continuing education questions? Please contact our School Administrator, Gail Parke.

New Aid Available for Chester County Renters, Homeowners

With the state ban on evictions set to expire on July 10th, a new program will help Chester County residents financially impacted by the pandemic stay in their homes. Beginning July 6th, renters and homeowners can apply for financial assistance to avoid homelessness, said Dale Gravett, executive director for the Housing Authority of Chester County. Anyone who lost income due to the pandemic-related economic slowdown may be eligible for rent or mortgage assistance through the program.
The funding comes from the federal CARES Act. "If [Chester County residents] are in arrears in rent from March 1st on, they may be eligible for rental assistance up to $750 a month for six months," Gravett said. Homeowners who became unemployed after March 1st or who suffered at least a 30% reduction in annual income may be eligible for up to $1,000 a month for six months. Full eligibility requirements and applications for both rent and mortgage assistance are accessible on the PHFA homepage.
