Dependent Re-verification (DRV) is the process of re-verifying the eligibility of your spouse, domestic partner, children, stepchildren, and domestic partner children (family members) enrolled for state health and dental benefits. Read more here.

Changes made during the 2026 Open Enrollment will take effect January 1, 2027. Check the 2026 Open Enrollment website for more details coming soon. - See the Difference with CSU VSP Vision Care
During the CSU Annual Open Enrollment period, faculty and staff may upgrade to the VSP Premium Plan. VSP Vision Care offers access to a broad provider network and coverage for routine eye exams, lenses, and frames. The Premium Plan provides enhanced benefits and higher allowances for employees who want additional coverage. Open Enrollment: September 14 – October 9, 2026. - LifeMatters - Log in to Explore the Recently launched Digital Programs
Togetherall is an online peer support program where users can post and respond to other’s posts on different subjects. It is clinically monitored by licensed counselors to assure that content is supportive and appropriate. There is also a special group for those that work in education under the Community section. The MyWellbeing program offers individuals an overall life assessment and then tools and coaching for areas where they may be struggling. Digital Self-Help is a self directed cognitive-behavioral program with modules on stress, sleep, depression and anxiety.

- From Here to Career Fall 2026 Cohort | Register by September 8
Are you interested in preparing your student assistants for life beyond CSUN? From Here to Career (FHTC) is looking for CSUN supervisors and student employees to form the Fall 2026 cohort! Applications are being accepted through 5:00 p.m. on September 8. A supervisor (CSUN Staff or Faculty) must complete the following registration form to enroll themselves and their student employees: FHTC Registration 2026-27. - Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Class (MBSR) | September 9 - November 10
Are you looking for practical tools to reduce stress, improve wellbeing, and build resilience during challenging times? We have a new date for our Fall Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) class. MBSR is an evidence-based in person course designed to support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing. MBSR is an internationally recognized program that combines guided meditation, mindful movement, and experiential learning to help participants respond to stress with greater awareness, balance, and ease. - Save the Date - 9/11 Memorial Ceremony | September 11
The CSUN community is invited and encouraged to join the campus and greater Northridge community as we come together to mark 25 years since Sept. 11, 2001, in a moment of reflection, solidarity and honor. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. Please RSVP by Friday, Sept. 4 and join us as we carry forward a legacy of hope, resilience, unity and remembrance. - The Reading Brain in a Digital World with Neuroscience Scholar Maryanne Wolf | September 15
The University Library is pleased to welcome back Maryanne Wolf for an insightful exploration of how digital technology is reshaping human cognition. Drawing on neuroscience, she examines the ways in which constant digital engagement can undermine deep reading, empathy, and critical thinking. Her work emphasizes that reading is a learned skill—not an innate one—and calls for developing a “bi-literate” brain that can thrive in both print and digital environments. - Constitution Day Event | September 19
Join us for CSUN’s Constitution Day event as we explore the history, legal significance, and future of voting rights in American democracy. This free event will feature a panel discussion and Q&A. For a full description and to register for the event, go here.

2026 CSUN Alumni Association's Student Scholarship Celebration | September 24
This year, we are proud to celebrate 15 exceptional scholarship recipients who are working hard to achieve their dreams. Join us for this special evening to hear their inspiring stories and learn how they plan to make their academic dreams a reality. Connect with fellow alumni, faculty, staff, and the awarded students and their families. Come enjoy great food, drinks, and a room buzzing with Matador spirit! Register by September 17.
- New Photography Request Tracking Process
SCBM introduced an improved process for managing photography requests. Photography requests will continue to be submitted through the SCBM Services Request form. Once a request has been reviewed, SCBM will confirm availability by email. For requests the team is able to support, campus partners will receive access to the Master Photography Requests board, which will serve as the primary workspace for information, updates, and communication related to their request. Please reach out to leyla.sade@csun.edu with any questions about this process.
- Do You Have a Project, Club or Program You Need to Raise Funds For? Learn How with CSUN Funder!
CSUN Funder is the official crowdfunding platform for CSUN. It is a tool designed for students, faculty, and staff to raise money for an eligible campus program, organization or project approved by a CSUN faculty group or academic department. A refreshed CSUN sign-in experience has launched, bringing a modern and more consistent look to the page our community uses to access university applications and services. The updated page is designed to feel familiar and easy to use. Most members of the CSUN community should experience little to no disruption during the transition.
