Winter Shows
The time is finally here for our Winter Shows!  The concert will beheld on:
Saturday, January 24th
89 North in Patchogue,NY
The show is FREE  to the public so bring as many friends as you like. No tickets to sell and no tickets to remember to bring. Just share the flyer and spread the words. 
All performers must arrive 40 minutes before their designated set time. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. And most importantly, bring family and friends to enjoy the show as well!
We encourage all our students that are not in performance to come and support their school show performances. This is the only way you can experience why we love what we do, bringing the fun from the lesson room to the fun on stage. 

Rock 101: 11:45 am-12:15 pm
Project Studio: 12:30 pm-1:15 pm

Rock Can Roll Fundraiser
We are proud to announce that the Rock Can Roll, a non profit hunger relief organization, will be fundraising at our show at 89 North on January 24th!
Please bring non-perishable food items to the concert. 
Rock CAN Roll, Inc., is a volunteer, 501c3, non-profit, hunger relief organization and think tank. Our message is simple: Help Out While You Rock Out! We collaborate with rock concerts, schools, corporations, and private individuals to collect healthy non-perishable food (for people and pets) and basic necessities for distribution to local agencies and into the hands of children, seniors and families who live with hunger and in poverty.

Spring Season Shows
As this great winter season comes to a close, here are the new shows we are offering for the upcoming spring season! We are looking forward to seeing new and familiar faces! 
Mondays: The Who vs. The Doors. Directed by Ryan Levy. Orientation: Mon, February 2nd 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Tuesdays: Rock 101. Directed by Tina Lama
Orientation: Tues, February 3rd 5:30pm to 6:00pm
Tuesdays: Coheed and Cambria vs. Brand New. Directed by Jessica Goldman
Orientation: Tues, Feb 3rd 5:30pm to 6:30pm
Wednesdays: Rock Choir (Acapella/Acoustic and Vocal collaboration. Class includes songwriting without the use of electricity, and covering some  great classic and modern rock and roll.  Directed by Brianna Sirlin
Orientation: Wed, Feb 4th 5:30 to 6:30pm
Fridays: Project Studio (Create your own composition and learn how to record). Directed by Yvan Sehr
Orientation: Friday, Feb 6th 4:30 to 5:30pm
Saturdays: Progressive Rock (Rush, Yes, Tool, ELP, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull, etc.). Directed by Dan Keller
Orientation: Saturday, February 7th at 1pm to 2pm
Each show has a maximum number of 15 kids and a certain number of instruments. Performance program has a show fee of $100. Sign up Now to reserve your spot!

February Break Camp 
For 3 days get ready for some head bangin' , giant jumping and thrash jamming music of all time. Let the metal bring out your wild and creative side of music. Come join Farmingdale SOR for some awesome heavy metal sessions that stand the test of time. Camp starts at 10 to 3pm. Directed by John Peter

Best of Season
We are honored to announce that School of Rock Farmingdale is participating in Best of Season! Each show will perfom their best song.

Tickets are $15 online but will be $20 at the door. 
We will hold 15 tickets first come first serve (please see Doug/Joel)

Please note Parents will NOT be allowed to enter before the doors open. Parents will have to wait on line and can not leave their belongings on the seats when they drop their kids off early to reserve a seat/table. There are plenty of coffee shops in the area. Kids should be there at 9:30am and parents will not be allowed in until the doors are open.
End of Season Party & Best of the Season Rehearsal 
Come and celebrate your hard work on Saturday January 31st 2pm to 4pm. We will provide small sandwich, chips and drinks. Bring food to share if you like. We will also be rehearsing for the Best of the Season during the party.

We would like to announce The Beatles show as the winners of our gingerbread contest!



Congratulations to Ryan Levy and the whole Beatles show!
As winners, Ryan received an Itunes Gift Card and the kids received a pizza party on January 26th at 5:30pm.

Monthly Jam Session w/ Student Bands
In the upcoming months, we are putting together monthly jam sessions featuring different bands every month. All students that have a band may participate. All family and friends are welcome to come!

Little Wing

12 week session - $300, plus LW gig bag ($35)
Music is that magical avenue into a little soul with untapped ideas, images, and movement. We aim to unearth that potential. Set in our innovative classrooms infused with rock music, these little artists explore rhythm patterns, tonal processing, basic music syntax, and make emotional connections to great music. Confidence emerges leading them down their own little creative journey. We are looking to contribute to the full development of confident, imaginative, young children who go out and inspire their world.
Winter sessions are:
Saturdays: 11:00am (3.5 to 5 years)
Thursdays:  4:15pm (3.5 to 5 years)
Thursdays:  3:30pm (Mommy/Daddy and Me)
Pay in Full and receive 10% off or puchase Passes $25/pass)
Rookies
$125 per month
Weekly 60 minute group lesson
For AGE: 6 to 7

Rookie Rockers provides hands-on learning with guitar, bass, drums and keyboards scaled to smaller hands and vocal instruction designed for this age group. Rookies will practice ear training, come to understand song structure, learn to play rhythm patterns, play and perform in a group to experience teamwork and above all develop a love of music through inspiration and fun.

Rookies scheduled are as follows:
Saturdays: 11:00am-12pm ( Sorry, FULL)
Thursdays 5:00pm to 6:00pm (New)
GRAD SCHOOL
There is no age when it comes to rock and roll! Come join the band and start doing gigs!  Tuesdays 8:30pm to 10:30pm
