We are deeply saddened to inform you of the passing of Calvin Williams this weekend. Calvin, who recently marked an incredible 50 years of service at GW as an integral part of our custodial team, will be remembered by many at the University Student Center for his reserved charm and unassuming diligence.
Peter Clarke worked with Calvin for more than 25 years and recalled Calvin's quiet kindness and his never-complain dedication to the job. Peter also highlighted Calvin's love of sports, specifically the Commanders and basketball.
Grief counselors will be available tomorrow, 3/4 from 5:30am to 8:30am and again from 1:30pm to 4:30pm in Support Room 211. You are welcome to come by during either of these time blocks for as long as you'd like.
We will pass along information about services for Calvin should they become available.
