St. Augustine's Weekly Newsletter
St. Augustine's Weekly Newsletter
Everyone can see the celestial wonder of the universe right in our own backyards on Monday. This eclipse is part of our amazing cosmos where the moon and the sun will dance for a few minutes. Star gazing has always been part of our dance with the spirit. On Sunday our liturgy will celebrate this celestial wonder, and on Monday, we will close the chapel. So, take the day off along with the St. A's staff. Feel the love and wonder.
(Sadly, our source for eclipse glasses to hand out Sunday morning fell though.)

Revelation 12:1 --  "And there appeared a great wonder in the heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars."

No experience required. You just need a heart to serve and spirit to learn. You just need a desire to learn. Whether you are trained (or would like to be) in Catechesis, have a heart for teaching, or can provide donuts for our older youth, we have a place for you!  Please contact Susan Ferguson,  if you’re willing to help in the nursery, children's church, or Sunday school.

Weekly Prayer Circle & Requests
Please join our email prayer circle. You will receive a weekly email on Thursdays asking for prayers for people in our community. Just email kay@staugustineschapel.org with your prayer request or simply a request to receive the weekly email.
Have you ever wondered why we asked the children in our community to carry the offerings to our altar every Sunday morning?
It's because worship is a group event, where all come together offering their gifts and talents and skills and abilities in the praise of God. Please don't forget, during this busy summer season, how much we need your offerings to support both our children's ministries and other important endeavors. Please donate via check on Sunday, by mail, or PayPal now. You can click the "Donate" button on our website. Thank you!
