Beating Burnout and Finishing Finals
|
Week 10 of winter quarter is a hectic time, to say the least. With the cold temperatures and so much of the quarter under your belt, it can be hard to find the energy you need to make it through that last stretch. Luckily, the Cleveland Clinic has 12 strategies for recovering from burnout:
-
Get professional help
- Alert your support system
- Tell people what you need
- Practice self-compassion
- Monitor your stress levels
- Make a habit of journaling
-
Try different stress-management techniques
- Set boundaries
- Eat a healthy diet
- Make time for exercise
- Practice good sleep hygiene
-
Do things that make you happy
These strategies are often easier said than done, so it may be useful to focus on one at a time. You got this!
