New Radford University Website Update and Timeline |
As we continue to prepare for the launch of the university’s new website this summer, we are approaching an important deadline on March 11—the end of the content audit and clean-up. Please be sure to review the following timeline and take appropriate action as needed.
Timeline:
- If you are a website owner or author, please be sure to complete any updates to your website by March 11.
| |
- After March 11, we will turn off access to the current CMS (AEM) for website owners and authors so the Marketing and Communication and Information Technology
teams, in partnership with our vendor, can migrate content from the current CMS to the new one (Modern Campus CMS). For any essential web edits that come up after March 11, website owners and authors should submit requests using the IT OneSTOP ticketing process. These requests should include the URL of the page to be updated along with the clearly marked edits.
- On June 11, we will launch our new website. The first phase of the launch will include the Radford homepage and other enrollment-focused pages, including admissions, financial aid, student life and program pages.
- After June 11, we will work throughout the summer to launch the remaining sites.
