Notre Dame Law School advocates for protection of sacred Indigenous site

A mining company is threatening one of the San Carlos Apache Tribe’s most sacred sites. Read how the Notre Dame Law School Religious Liberty Clinic and Dean Marcus Cole are helping the Apache in their fight to save it.

Karen Carmona, captain of threat assessment with the Notre Dame Police Department, didnt expect to need emergency financial support. But then lightning struckliterally.

Shamrock Series heads back to New York City

Outlined against a blue-gray October sky, the Four Horsemen rode again. 
On October 18, 1924, Grantland Rice, a sportswriter for the New York Herald Tribune, penned these poetic lines after Notre Dame upset Army 137 at the Polo Grounds in New York City. The Fighting Irish are commemorating the 100th anniversary of this passage with a return to New York City to take on Army at Yankee Stadium.
