If you have not yet cast a vote for the Fourth Amendment to the RVRMA Master Declaration, we encourage you to do so. Paper ballots are available at the Ranch House (or via mail) should you prefer that method. We are happy to assist any homeowners seeking support with this process, please feel free to reach out. Printed copies of the proposed Fourth Amendment are also available.

The vote will remain open until the end of the year regardless of the published vote tallies.  We encourage everyone to cast a ballot to ensure that the vote is as inclusive as possible.

The posted speed limit throughout RVR is 20 mph.

As a kind reminder to residents, we ask that you please slow down and remain cautious while driving in RVR. It is of the utmost importance that we all drive carefully to avoid conflicts between vehicular, bicycle, and pedestrian traffic.

The speed limit in the neighborhood is 20 mph. Please adhere to the law and do not exceed 20 mph at any time while driving in RVR.

We would like to extend our appreciation to those of you who consistently follow the speed limit. Thank you for doing your part to keep everyone safe!

Please be aware of the presence of coyotes in RVR and be very careful when you have small pets or children outside.

Following the Board’s unanimous approval of the budget at the November Board Meeting, homeowners had the next step of voting on the budget. According to our governing documents, two-thirds of RVR’s property owners would have to vote no to reject the budget to curtail it from going into effect on 1/1/2024. Of the 157 homeowners who voted on the budget ratification, 127 were in favor of the budget, while 30 opposed it. That means the budget goes into effect on January 1, 2024.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to weigh in on the issue. 

RVR Property Owners who mail their payment will be receiving notification from our Accounting Department over the next week about what their monthly dues will be, starting in January. Those owners who are on auto-pay will automatically have their payment adjusted.

Looking for sustainable holiday gifts? Consider giving an old item new life. Vintage items make unique holiday gifts and there are so many wonderful books, household items, art, pieces of jewelry, tools, and more that deserve a second chance to be useful and provide joy. Gifting an experience is also a great way to reduce waste and create lasting memories. Whether it’s a membership to our state parks, a local museum, or the theater. For that person who already “has it all,” the gift of giving could be a great choice. Make a donation in their honor to a charity you think they’d appreciate and send them a card sharing the gift. And last but not least, homemade items are truly unique and special presents. Cookies, granola or other baked goods, bath salts, a tea, cocoa, or brownie mix, and special spice blends can be fun and customizable gifts.

Did you know that dog waste is an environmental hazard? According to the EPA, pet waste doesn't just decompose, it adds harmful bacteria to local waters when it is not disposed of properly. Animal waste can be a source of pollution that can create problems for water quality, and even human health.

Newly added Kids' Spring Ballet session at the Ranch House! 

Alexandra Jerkunica from Bondale Ballet is partnering with RVR for a Kids' Spring Ballet class. No experience necessary. Open to boys and girls ages 5 - 8 years old.
