RVR Community Satisfaction Survey
As mentioned in the February View from the Board, good communication and engagement with everyone in the RVR community is an essential element of good community. The board hopes this newly-launched effort to annually survey the community will aid in that. We plan to use the results to help inform future RVR strategy and planning.
We invite you to complete this important Community Satisfaction Survey. The survey should take about 10 minutes to complete. Thanks for taking the time to share your views.

Green Tip
Please enjoy the following eco-friendly tidbit brought to you by Friends of the Environment:
When you stop at the Ranch House to get your mail, do you also pick up a few local daily newspapers? Have you noticed that they all have many of the same stories? In an effort to reduce waste, consider choosing a favorite and only get one paper. And make sure that when you are finished, that paper is recycled or composted. Better yet, why not read the online version of your preferred paper? Most are free and you can view a version formatted just like the real paper, including ads, editorials and crossword puzzles. As much as we access computers and phones, we are already adept at digital reading. So let's try to kick the paper habit.

Social Clubs at RVR – A Call for Ambassadors!
We hope to increase opportunities for those in RVR to enjoy the things they love doing with others in the community, and hopefully meet some new friends in the process!
We are seeking volunteers to serve as ambassadors for special interest groups, or social clubs. At a minimum, the ambassador will serve as a point of contact for connecting members with a similar interest – including new neighbors or others who have yet to establish their own social networks or those looking to take up a new activity. They may also (totally optional) coordinate group activities around the interest, maintain a contact list of interested people, write blurbs for the newsletter about upcoming meet ups, or any number of things that may help our community engage. The club ambassador’s name and contact information will be posted on the website.

Here are some social clubs that we think could be of interest to the community:
  • Fishing
  • Hiking
  • Skiing
  • Cross Country Skiing
  • Road Cycling
  • Mountain Biking
  • Book Club
  • Crafts
  • Bridge
  • Mahjong
  • Boating
  • Walking
  • Poker
  • Gardening
  • Any other ideas welcome!
