Annual Golf Tournament Raises $47,000 for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt

The 13th Annual Credit Unions for Kids Golf Classic was a huge success, raising over $47,000 for Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. Hosted in partnership with Enbright Credit Union, this years event took place at Pine Creek Golf Course in Mt. Juliet earlier this month. Numerous credit union vendors, supporters, and members came together to help raise funds for the hospital, providing support to families needing extended stays and life-saving medical treatments. In addition to the wonderful community support, the credit union also received a very generous donation from the CO-OP Miracle Match, a philanthropic program which helps raise additional funds for the kids!
The tournament was full of unique games, fun activities, and good food. This event is meant to be unlike other events with the intention to encourage participants to act and feel like kids again. Doing so allows US to recognize and pay tribute to the many children who spend significant parts of their childhood receiving care at Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
As the credit union continues to host this exceptional event, funds raised over the next five years will go specifically to a new rehabilitation facility for children which will be the first in Tennessee. Thank you to all the supporters and sponsors who came together to make this years event such a success!

  2.  Frequent Trading: Chasing “hot” investments often leads to despair. Create an asset allocation strategy that is properly diversified to reflect your objectives, risk tolerance, and time horizon; then make adjustments based on changes in your personal situation, not due to market ups and downs.²
