And Then His World Turned Around
by Ellen Moore Osborne
A group exhibition of BozARTS Fine Art Collective artists will show their work from May 3 through June 30 at InBio's Create Gallery. This will be a fundraising event for LVCA; we will receive 20% of all sales.
There is a First Friday Opening Reception tonight, May 5, from 57 p.m. All are invited.
Ellen Osborne, our Executive Director, is the exhibition organizer and showing artist. “This is an exciting way to combine my passion for art with my professional life at LVCA,” she said.
The exhibit will feature prints, paintings, photographs, and collages. Other artists included are Betty Brubach, Julia Kindred, Brita Lineburger, Katharine Eisaman Maus, Shirley Paul, and Juliette Swenson.
The exhibition is at the Silk Mills Building, 700 Harris Street, Charlottesville. The entrance is off Dale Ave.

A Successful Volunteer Appreciation Event

Last month, in honor of Volunteer Appreciation Week, we invited our volunteers to an appreciation event at Eastwood Farm and Winery. We had over 90 people in attendance! The weather was beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were plentiful, and the camaraderie was amazing. Thank you to everyone who came out to honor and recognize the hard work of our volunteers.
Congratulations to Ron B. and Linda P. for being named our Fiscal Year 2023 Tutors of the Year.
Thank you to Eastwood Farm & Winery for hosting us, Terrence Catering for our food, and Wegmans for donating fruit trays.
