Spooktacular Aquarium Decorating Contest

Calling all Marathon County 4-H fish keepers β€” it's time to get creative!

Decorate your aquarium with any Halloween theme you can dream up! Whether it's spooky, silly, or just plain strange, we want to see your imagination come to life underwater.

It can be any size tank or type of fish. Just be sure to include your name, club, and parent contact information.

πŸ“Έ Send a photo of your decorated tank to Steve at stevesaquarium@aol.com by October 31, 2025.

πŸ† Winners will be announced on November 11, 2025, and will receive gift cards and coupons from Weston Ace Pets!

Trapp River North Stars

Look at that cute kitty smile!

The Trapp River North Stars 4-H Club recently held a service learning project where they collected items for the Humane Society of Marathon County.

All past project areas are still part of 4-H; they may be under one of the new project areas. If you don’t see a project that you have signed up for in the past, check the listings at the back of the 4-H Project Guide. You will find a list of past project areas with the new project areas. If you still don’t see what you are looking for, there is a Self-Determined project in each project grouping; you can choose a unique project to explore.

American Spirit 2026

The 4-H American Spirit Experience is an opportunity for youth in grades 8-10 to immerse themselves in history and heritage through a 10-day bus journey to the East Coast and Canada. Participants will increase their knowledge of American history by visiting significant sites and gain unique exposure to diverse cultural experiences and perspectives foundational to our nation.Β
