Hi Friends! We had our Annual Fundraising Banquet on Saturday and we came away so encouraged by the many of you who came together to share hope with the young people in our community. The highlights are many:
Everett High student, Alice, shared a heart touching story about how God is working in her life to show her his goodness. God is good even in the midst of loss.
YoungLives Rise participant and former teen mom, Shawna, shared how God has given her purpose and joy to be able to serve teen parents now that she is married and has three kids.
Guest speaker, Pastor Eddie Johnson, invited all of us to consider making a significant gift to ensure Young Life happens in our community and in doing so we move from spectator to someone who has more connection and ownership to the mission of reaching young people for Christ.

We all had fun! Our MCs, Jenna and Dante invited us into the fun of wine ring tosses (Jimmy went 0 for 6, his worst performance ever ๐คฃ), to the silent auction (our friend Nathan went home with a priceless signed Felix Hernandez perfect game photo!), to delicious Mexican food, to mocktails and the dessert dash. It was good to be together and celebrate what God is doing!
Jimmy, our Area Director, shared about how our Young Life area has been overcoming obstacles, trusting God and taking a gather step as we jump into the future. Lord willing, we continue to be led to open Young Life at Jackson High School as the 2026 school year begins and Jimmy looks forward to being on the Jackson Young Life team.

From a fundraising perspective, we are really touched by everyone who gave. God makes it clear to us that our heart of generosity is more important to him than what we have to give. He cares deeply about each gift.
Thank you for your generosity and sacrificial giving. It means a lot and it has made a difference as we do all we can to reach young people in Everett and Mill Creek!
|
So far, we have received about $46,500. Our current goal for the banquet is to raise a total of $70,000.
If you werenโt able to make it or are able to make an additional gift, would you pray and consider giving to help make up the gap?
We trust God to provide for our $370,000 annual budget. โOn the mountain of the Lord it will be provided,โ Genesis 22:14.
