Happy New Year Everyone!
There's no glossing over it, 2020 has been a really difficult year. Each of us has felt the trauma of this past year in one way or another.
But yet, we trudged ahead through the quagmire of 2020 and made projects happen, learned some things, made connections and built something to carry with us into 2021.
It's fun to dream that when our clocks strike midnight on December 31 and we get to turn our calendars to 2021 that miraculously all will be well. We know it won't but it's awfully nice to dream. And then there's hope, we're building something and for that, we're grateful and focusing on what we can control. As Brenda Smith HDP's Executive Director has said: "We're just over here living on a steady diet of hope."
To all of you out there who are working together for Harney County, we thank you, we wish you very well and Happy New Year!
