WHAT'S SUP?
Brebeuf Jesuit's Conservation Club is committed to asking everyone in and around the Brebeuf community “What’s SUP?” The 2019 initiative to rule out single-use plastics (SUPs) from Brebeuf is in full swing, and we need your help to spread awareness about decreasing single-use plastics.
You can buy shirts for $15 and reusable bags for $6 with the “What’s SUP” logo right now brebeuf.org/whatssup/, and bring the idea of a single-use plastic free world with you everywhere.

Student Spotlight
Ella Gebke '20
Loves About Brebeuf
I love the consistent energy and general enthusiasm for learning that is universally found among the Brebeuf student body. Students are self-driven to achieve academic success and learn meaningful things. I also love the genuine passion that teachers have for both their profession and respective area of expertise. Hearing Mrs. Annee explain Biotech concepts and Mr. Tague discuss macroeconomics reminds me everyday of the importance of enjoying what you do.
Future Plans
I plan on studying business in college and participate in a study abroad program. I hope to one day work in management or law.

Brebeuf alumna Dr. Lauren broniarczyk '11 visits with medical and scientific terminology students The use of complex Medical Terminology is an efficient way for medical professionals to communicate with each other. But, we need to understand what they mean in order to communicate with our patients and their families.
Brebeuf alumna and former Latin student Dr. Lauren Broniarczyk (2011) visited Magistra Catalan’s Medical and Scientific Terminology Course this week. During the class Dr. Broniarczyk shared her journey from Brebeuf, to Marquette, to becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She explained that patients often don’t expect to have mobility problems, but she finds joy in helping them gain independence and confidence. While visiting the class Dr. Broniarczyk led the students in a balance assessment and answered career-based questions.
