The final burst of energy is running through campus as students and faculty finish with classes on Thursday, May 1 and finals begin on Saturday, May 3. It's been an active 2024-25 for all of us, and with the end of this academic year, I send my absolute thanks to all of you for your involvement and support.
Class of 2025 Families: There's important information below regarding Commencement on Friday, May 16. As a reminder, all of this information sits on our Commencement page, making it easy for you to get accurate information. Most importantly, thank you for sharing your Villanovans with us these last four years. Their commencement, in part, is a manifestation of your care and love over the years! I'm grateful this office was able to play a (small) role in your experiences as members of our community and in the growth of your Wildcats. Here's to the Class of 2025—I look forward to celebrating our students with you during Commencement!

End-of-Year Resources and Support
With the close of the academic year approaching, students are maneuvering through a wide variety of activities and responsibilities—whether they are rising sophomores navigating finals and move-out, or soon-to-be Villanova alumni—and it can feel like a lot. As a key piece of your Wildcat's support system, we want to remind you of the University's academic and health and well-being resources. They're in place throughout the year, but are especially important during this time. When help is needed, we ask that you encourage your Villanovan to reach out, to take initiative and to drive the conversation by contacting their advisor, their professors or their Dean's office.
Here are some other offices that may also be helpful to your Wildcat:

Preparing for Campus Housing Move-Out |
| Move-out is quickly approaching! As you solidify plans with your Wildcat, please keep the following highlights in mind.
Detailed information has been shared with residential students via email and can also be found on the Residence Life Resources page (scroll down to Move-Out Procedures).
Residence halls and on-campus apartments will close at noon on Saturday, May 10 (students participating in Commencement or approved for another sponsored event must move out before 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 18). As your Wildcat leaves their on-campus housing, please keep the following in mind:
- Check Out: Students must log in to the Housing Portal to complete the "Closing Checkout Form."
-
Room Cleanout: Basic cleanup should be complete; this includes sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, locking windows and removing all personal items (food, cleaning supplies and personal furniture). Trash, recycling and donation bins (non-perishable food and clothing) will be available outside of halls. Rented Microfridges should be emptied, wiped out and left plugged in in the room. Please note: Any items left in the room will be considered abandoned property and will either be donated or thrown away.
- Room Assessments: Residence Life staff will complete room assessments once all residents have left the room/suite/apartment. For a list of ways to avoid being charged for room damage please visit the Residence Life Resources page (Move-Out Procedures section).
-
Summer Storage: Students may choose to contract directly with a company that provides residence hall pick-up, storage and delivery to a new residence hall in the fall. Please visit the Residence Life Resources page for a list of companies permitted on campus for pickup and delivery.
