Connect with Me CardsConnect with Me cards are conversation starter cards meant to start conversations between adults and youth anywhere and anytime. They can be asked by adult to youth, youth to adult, or youth to youth. They include a variety of questions covering many topics such as relationships, mental health, growing up, building connections, and more. These cards were created for youth around middle school age and older, but can be simplified for younger ages. They might be used during car rides, at restaurants, in waiting rooms, or any other place where adults and youth might have conversations.
With their permission, we based our cards off a Missouri Department of Health project. They’ve created this 1 minute video that explains the cards too. You can watch it here. If you would like to preview the cards first, you can view them electronically here.
