2020 Census

Why is the 2020 Census important?
  • Money- Each Person counted in the Census equates to approximately $2,300 annually in federal funds allocated to Colorado for important community services like schools, health services, road improvements, public housing and Veterans programs.
  • Voice in government- Colorado could gain a seat in the House of Representatives with a complete count.
  • Important Decisions- Census data is used by decision makers to plan for community development, services and more.

Reminders & Highlights

Trash and Recycling
In Oct. of 2019, the Town of Carbondale began managing residential trash and recycling collection within the town limits. RVR had an existing contract for these same services through March of 2020 and was allowed to finish out the contract before switching to the Town's new contract. It is now time to make that switch.
Click here to learn more about what you need to do to make the switch.
Contact the Town of Carbondale with any questions at 970.510.1202, trash@carbondaleco.net or visit carbondalegov.org/trash.
*The Ranch House now has sample trash can sizes on display in the foyer to help you decide which can will work best for your home.
Guest Check in Policy
The Ranch House Front Desk is noticing a significant increase in guests arriving at the facility without a homeowner present to check them in. We would like to remind our Members of our guest policy:

1. Guests visiting the Ranch House must be accompanied by a Member. Members must check their guests in at the Front Desk upon entry, fill out appropriate paperwork and pay the applicable guest fee(s). Please do not call the front desk to check your guest in, the front desk is not authorized to do so.

2. Members are responsible for the conduct and safety of minor aged guests who are at the Ranch House, even if the child is old enough to use the facility without adult supervision.

3. Each membership may check in not more than 8 guests per day.
