82% of Real Estate Agents Use AI. The Real Gap Is Confidence |
In REALTORS® Property Resource's (RPR) latest survey of 225 real estate professionals, 82% said they currently use AI in their business, and 92% said they are either using AI now or planning to. The conversation is shifting from “Should I use AI?” to “Where can I trust it, and where do I still need to be careful?”
The findings show a practical pattern: agents are using AI most in day-to-day workflows where value is immediate, such as creating listing descriptions, drafting emails and streamlining routine content workflows. At the same time, confidence drops in higher-stakes areas tied to pricing, interpretation, and compliance-sensitive client conversations.
This study is less about hype and more about clarity: adoption is here, and the next step is helping agents use AI with better guardrails, stronger training, and sound professional judgment.
"AI adoption is no longer the question. Agents are already using it,” said Reggie Nicolay, SVP of Marketing and Training at RPR. “The real opportunity now is confidence. Confidence in output quality, confidence in compliance and confidence in how AI is used in client conversations.”

PAR: NAREB Empowers Minority Real Estate Professionals |

The National Association of Real Estate Brokers (NAREB) is the nation’s oldest and most historic Black real estate trade association. It is dedicated to promoting democracy in housing and embracing a community of Black real estate professionals. Its members, called Realtists, represent a wide range of disciplines within the real estate industry.
NAREB was founded on July 29, 1947, a time when racial discrimination was high and Black Americans were not allowed to join REALTOR® associations. At this time, NAREB offered a community for Black real estate professionals that had previously been missing in the industry.
Now, the association focuses on five pillars and publishes an annual State of Housing in Black America Report, which highlights data-driven insights, policy advocacy, awareness and education, and community empowerment. It also produces a Women Invested in Real Estate Report, which covers the impact and contributions of Black women in the industry.
There are currently two local NAREB chapters in Pennsylvania: the Philadelphia Metropolitan Board of Realtist (PMBR) and the Pittsburgh Realtist Professionals. Arica Miller has a been a member of Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® (TCSR) for 8 years and is currently serving as the President of PMBR, she also chairs TCSR's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee.

SRA: Upper Frederick Supervisors Vote to Withhold Fire Funding, Advance Use Changes |
Upper Frederick supervisors voted Jan. 14 to suspend roughly $60,000 a year in township fire tax funding to the Upper Frederick Fire Company pending resolution of alleged financial misconduct, submission of long-overdue, state-required financial reports, and an end to prohibited partisan political activity. Supervisors said the fire company has failed for about a decade to provide adequate documentation on the use of taxpayer funds, prompting concerns that inaction could expose the township to liability, though officials said the issue may ultimately prove to be an accounting problem. Township staff are now working with the fire company’s new treasurer to bring records into compliance. In other business, the board moved forward with advertising major updates to its use regulation ordinance, including provisions to ease approval of accessory dwelling units (ADUs). The 200-page draft ordinance is available for public review on the township website.
