Maximizing Revenue Streams: Free Virtual Seminar for Real Estate Agents Exploring Rental Leasing Opportunities on March 13
Most real estate agents tend to focus exclusively on real estate sales as their only business line. This strategy works until the market slows and agents are faced with reduced and inconsistent income. By offering rental leasing, agents can offset this slowdown with quick paydays, more consistent income, building a large prospect database, and becoming a more versatile real estate agent. On March 13, Mike Lautensack Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® Member, and National Residential Property Managers Member (NARPM) will host a free virtual seminar all about how to maximize rentals in your business. To register, click here.
What You Will Learn:
- The 10 Long-term Advantages of leasing and how they will help you earn quicker income and smooth out income bumps with consistent rental commissions.
- Building Your Future Client Base: Interact with renters (potential buyers) and landlords (potential sellers) to build your buyer/seller network.
- Market Expertise & Support: Gain local knowledge through rentals and leverage industry tools for leasing mastery.

Diversity and Inclusion Committee Needs Your Help!
The Tri-County Suburban REALTORS® Diversity and Inclusion Committee is working on project to create consumer facing education to help buyers understand the home buying process.
As REALTORS® are aware, potential buyers often underestimate their purchasing power. At other times, the consumer diminishes the power they had by making poor financial decisions ahead of or during the buying process. Even the buyer who is perfectly positioned financially may succumb to fear of an unknown process. Often, they do not know what they do not know.
The goal of the D&I Committee’s project is providing education designed to encourage homeownership and leverage the power of engaging the assistance of a REALTOR®.
To fine tune their effort, the Diversity and Inclusion Committee would like to hear directly from buyers. You can help by sharing the Google Form found here with your buyer clients who have purchased a home in the last 2 years. The survey is anonymous. Participants are not asked any identifying information nor is there tracking of any kind attached to the survey. Questions may be addressed to D&I Committee staff liaison Paula Tansey at ptansey@tcsr.realtor.

SRA: Radnor Schools Preliminary Budget Includes 5.3% Tax Hike
Radnor Township School District officials have presented a budget proposal with a 5.3% tax increase for the 2024-2025 school year. The increase would change the millage rate from 14.63 to 15.41 mills. If approved, the 5.3% hike would represent an increase of $567 for a property assessed at the township average of about $730,600. Due to a resolution approved by the board last November, the board cannot increase taxes beyond the state-imposed Act 1 index of 5.3%. Under the district’s current schedule, the board would vote on the proposed budget at its April 16 meeting and the final budget at the May 21 meeting.
