Dear Friend,
Thank you for stepping into the lives of kids. Your gifts and support give kids in our area a place to belong, a reason to hope and the chance to live life as God designed it.
We have been looking at Advent in Campaigners and sharing with kids the hope, love, peace, and joy that Jesus brings at Christmas. Our leaders have been reflecting on how kids have shared with them the difference of what Jesus teaches and what they live in their high schools. Yes... we eagerly wait for the truths of Jesus to be a reality. We look towards Christmas because Jesus changes everything! Thank you for helping us bring the Good News of Great Joy to kids in Rochester East!
Here are some ways you can be praying for kids and leaders this December!
- Pray for kids to grow in their faith
- We are grateful for Fall Weekend and kids who heard the Gospel and responded to the invitation to follow Jesus. Please pray for them as they start walking with Jesus.
- Pray for leaders who are discipling kids. Follow me as I follow Jesus is a mantra we have with our team.
- Pray for leaders who are practicing time in silence this month. This is super hard, but a huge blessing to our relationship with Jesus. Pray for that time to be protected.
- Pray for kids to experience advent and learn more about Jesus this Christmas season
- Pray for our donors! We are so grateful for our donors who give generously and are such a blessing to our team.
- Please pray for teachers, administrators, and adults who spend time with kids. May they be a blessing to teenagers as they navigate this world.
- Pray for our team that is preparing for El Salvador in February 2019. Pray for support, supplies, and prayer contacts to support the trip.
Thank you for making Young Life possible and continually praying for lost kids to know Jesus!!
