Recently, the United States Senate drafted a new health care bill that includes an $840 billion cut to Medicaid, which is essential in making sure that people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can live in society, outside of segregated, state-run institutions. If the bill passes, the quality of care to the people we serve will be threatened.
