DIABETES PREVENTION PROGRAM
This program meets weekly on Tuesdays for 16 weeks and is for people with prediabetes, a history of gestational diabetes or who are at high risk for Type 2 diabetes. Call 845-348-2004 to register and for more information.

BLOW AWAY BREAST CANCER 5K RUN-WALK
The 28th Annual Blow Away Breast Cancer 5K Run/Walk will be held on October 14 at 9:00 a.m. on the grounds of Montefiore Nyack Hospital. Proceeds will support the programs, services and equipment needs of The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital.

This monthly group discussion provides support and education to individuals affected by diabetes. For registration information, call 845-348-2004.
New Moms Circle Support Group

11:00 AM–12:15 PM
Pregnant mothers and mothers of infants and toddlers (ages 0-18 months) are invited to attend this group discussion featuring guest speaker, Lynnette Marshall, who will host a “Nyack Basics and Introduction to Parenting Workshop” at The Prenatal Center (258 High Street). Free Cancer Screenings

8:00 AM–3:30 PM
The Breast Center at Montefiore Nyack Hospital will offer free breast exams, mammography, and if needed, pelvic exams with PAP tests for women ages 40 and over with no insurance or who are underinsured. Registration is requested, walk-ins welcome. To register, please call 845-348-8551. Spanish-speaking assistance available at 845-348-8582.
