SPONSOR HIGHLIGHT:
TULSA FOP 93
The Fraternal Order of Police Local 93 in Tulsa made the largest single donation in the history of Special Olympics Oklahoma Law Enforcement Torch Run, contributing $15,000 to the non-profit organization. The Tulsa Police Department, the FOP and law enforcement across the state have worked together with Special Olympics for many years.
"We appreciate the generous gift from the FOP in Tulsa, and it will go to good use to help the athletes throughout the state," said Jim Fisher, Director of the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Torch Run. "It takes about $200 for each athlete to participate in the events each year, so the gift will ensure that at least 75 Special Olympics athletes can compete."
