Opportunity for Students: Tenth Annual National Cyber and AI Virtual Career Fair | September 22 9:00 am-2:00 pm PDT (Register by September 21st)
At this event, students can meet recruiters and hiring managers from top organizations looking for the next generation of cyber and AI talent. This annual career fair is only open to students enrolled in CAE designated institutions (SJSU is one of these). Students must register by Monday, September 21 using their sjsu.edu email. Their resume must be uploaded at the time of registration.

- Join the BoodleBox Pilot (Opportunity for faculty and staff)
SJSU in collaboration with the CSU has launched an optional pilot program for BoodleBox, which is a collaborative AI platform that provides access to multiple leading AI models within a single secure workspace. The platform is designed to streamline research, group work, and content curation. During AY 2026/27, we are looking for a select group of faculty and staff members to explore this tool, test its capabilities, and help us evaluate its potential for broader institutional support. The following resources on ethical AI usage that can assist in planning your courses. These resources were created to help both faculty and students make thoughtful decisions about when, how, why, and whether to use (or not use) AI tools at various stages of the learning process. There is also a faculty FAQ for ChatGPT.

Engage with speakers Dr. Mary Vixie Sandy (CCTC Executive Director), Adam Ebrahim (CCTC Chief Deputy Director), and Dr. Juliet Wahleithner (CCTC Division Director, Research, Evaluation, and Assessment) in a new installment of the Thinking Through AI for Deeper Learning webinar series, sponsored by the SJSU Center for Innovation in Applied Education Policy (IAEP). This session brings together California leaders responsible for guiding research, assessment, and evaluation systems designed to ensure pre-service teachers are ready to teach in TK-12 classrooms. - BayGeo/SJSU 2026 GeoEducation Summit IX | September 11 | SJSU Campus
The event is co-hosted by SJSU's Spatial Analytics and Visualization Institute (SAVI) and will be held at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Library. Now in its ninth year, this annual Summit brings together educators, researchers, students, industry professionals, and Bay Area GIS experts for a full day of learning, research sharing, and community building around geospatial education and technology. The Summit’s audience is educators, practitioners, and emerging professionals.
