The start of May gives us a unique opportunity to recognize and honor all of the crucial work that public employees undertake in our communities.
Public Service Recognition Week (May 7-13) has been celebrated since 1985 to honor the people who serve our nation as federal, state, county, local and tribal government employees.
As always, I want to take this opportunity to thank my outstanding staff for their hard work and dedication to the citizens of Orange County. I appreciate them all and value their commitment to public service. Next time you do business with us, please join me in saying "thank you" to them.
