Study Abroad Fair

Come out and learn more about the fascinating places you could go, along with the educational experiences that each country has to offer! Don't forget to drop by the ONIF table to learn about study abroad scholarships.

Please note: many awards fall into more than one category. Read the eligibility requirements or contact ONIF for assistance.

All or Multiple Disciplines
Ashley Soulé Conroy Study Abroad Scholarship- October 1 for Spring/Summer 2019. Up to $4,000 for a study abroad program (minimum of 14 weeks long). Applicants must:
  • Be a U.S. citizen.
  • Be enrolled as an undergraduate in a U.S. 4-year college or university.
  • Have at least 30 hours of completed undergraduate credit by the time of the study abroad term’s start date.
  • Intend to study abroad in a program that is outside of the U.S.
  • Be enrolling in a study abroad term (the days that you are actually enrolled in classes abroad) that is no shorter than 14 weeks.
  • Be applying for the Spring semester. Summer applicants will not be considered unless their academic term abroad is longer than 14 weeks, in which case they should apply for the Spring semester scholarship.
  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 at their current institution, verifiable on their transcript

Scholarship America Dream Award- Deadline: October 15. Scholarship America’s Dream Award scholarships of $5,000-$15,000 will be awarded to undergraduate students selected from across the nation who are entering their second year or higher of education beyond high school. The scholarships will be renewable and growing in amount each year, allowing students to receive aid throughout their college career. Open to U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and DACA students.

LULF Scholarships- Deadline: October 15. Nearly three quarters (74%) of all Latino students who cut their college education short do so due to the financial pressures of supporting their families. We want to make sure all students who start college, finish college by providing scholarships of up to $1,000 directly to the students when they need it most. Eligibility:
  • Minimum cumulative GPA above 2.80 out of a 4.0 GPA Scale.
  • Completed at least one full-time year of study for undergraduate applicants.
  • Enrolled in an eligible bachelor’s or master’s degree program at an accredited four-year college or university.
    • Eligible Degrees: all Bachelor degrees OR Master of Arts, Master of Science, Master of Public Administration/Policy, Master of Social Work, Master of Education, Master of Divinity and Doctor of Philosophy.
