Meet our New Member!
We are so pleased to introduce you to Becky Harmon!  Becky, a Birmingham native, (Roll Tide!), has recently moved to Beau Ridge after retiring from a career she loved in hospital administration. Her job took her to many great cities, most recently Houston, Texas. Her heart, however, is here in Mississippi with her daughter, son-in-law, and 8-year-old grand-triplets!  Originally attracted to PHUMC by its energy, dedication to missions, Bruce's teaching, and our friendly congregation, we are thrilled Becky has now decided to make us her church family. If you have not yet met her, seek her out in the Fellowship Sunday School class or the 10:45 service. She is already in our directory - so send her a note of welcome!

Join us for
Beacon's Brunch
next Wednesday, November 2nd, at 10am.  Both our brunch and a short program will be provided by Riggs Manor, the closest to us of the twelve statewide campuses of Methodist Senior Services. They would like to tell us about the variety of senior living options they offer, and share how their vocation springs from God's call to honor and respect elders. Come and ask questions for yourself or someone you love, enjoy some good food, then stay for conversation and camaraderie!
Our children had a good talk with Rev. Sarah Renfro about how wonderfully we are made and the many ways we can use our bodies to serve and praise God.  (Adults: she had a great message for us too - listen here if you missed it.)
