Graduate Student Appreciation Week
|
Traditionally held at the beginning of April, Graduate Student Appreciation Week recognizes the work and research of graduate and professional students at Baylor. The Graduate School and the Graduate Student Association team up each year to host a week of events celebrating graduate students. As Baylor strengthens its reputation as a leading Christian R1 institution, our graduate students are helping to shape that future through their scholarly excellence.
This year, all online and hybrid students received a discount at the bookstore, and we will hold daily giveaways for those participating in our trivia contests during Graduate Student Appreciation Week!
Make sure to follow the Graduate School's Instagram at the bottom of this email, and check the stories during Graduate Student Appreciation Week to be part of these giveaways!

OTD Students at the Student Life Center |
Just this past week, a new cohort of students pursuing their Doctorate in Occupational Therapy was welcomed to their first campus immersion. After a morning of training that ended with a white coat ceremony, they enjoyed an afternoon of tailgate games at the Student Life Center (SLC). There's no better way to end a day during a campus immersion than with a few rounds of pickleball and cornhole. Check out the full story in the Baylor Lariat!
If you belonged to a hybrid program, be sure to ask your program directors about working with the Graduate School to arrange an afternoon at the Student Life Center.
