The women known as Madan Sara in Haiti work tirelessly to buy and sell essentials in markets countrywide. They are a critical part of the Haitian economy. The documentary tells the story of these women who help keep Haiti's economy afloat. A panel discussion will follow the screening.

UNO Opens BeyondReality, A Virtual Reality Tools Lab |
Virtual reality, augmented reality and artificial intelligence are prominent growth areas that are quickly becoming a part of numerous economic sectors, University of New Orleans chemistry professor Matt Tarr said. On Tuesday, UNO held a grand opening for BeyondReality, a virtual reality maker space in the Earl K. Long Library that allows students and the community to use virtual reality tools for business development, education and other applications.

| Artist Book Collection Moves to the University of New Orleans Special Collections |
The Artist Book Collection, a group of more than 75 handmade books, has been donated to the University of New Orleans and is now on display in the Louisiana and Special Collections at the Earl K. Long Library.
The Artist Book Collection is a rich resource of artists’ books for the city of New Orleans and surrounding areas.
