Welcome     Grow     Serve    Celebrate

                                                   June 25, 2025
We are delighted to welcome our newest members, who joined Sunday, William Ray (on right),
Martha Ray, and their son Adam Ray (on the left). Send them an email to say hello, and welcome them to our PHUMC family when you see them.
This Sunday, June 29, we officially welcome Jennifer Heath as she begins serving as our interim Director of Children and Family Ministries. Jennifer has a background in early childhood education, spiritual development, and team building.  She worked in churches for eighteen years with week-day and after school care as well as children and families ministries. Please make plans to stop by the Garden Room this Sunday anytime from 9:30-10:00 am to grab a doughnut and say hello! You can also send Jennifer a welcome here.

We also welcome Rev. J.R. Hall who recently retired after 37.5 years of pastoral ministry in the United Methodist Church.  He has graciously offered to serve on a volunteer basis as an assisting pastor during this transition time as we continue to think through and search for staff.  He will be on call for pastoral needs while Rev. Flowers and her family are on vacation July 7-12. You can send a hello to Rev. J. R. Hall here.

Please be in prayer for our 17 youth and 6 adults who leave bright and early Saturday morning for a one-night stop in Chattanooga, then on to Magoffin County, Kentucky where they will join two other youth groups to serve families in the area.

We will not livestream worship Sunday, July 6. With the exception of Open Doors, Sunday School will not meet in July. Open Doors will meet at 9:00 am throughout July.
Join us for Sunday School!
