Our Children's Department is planning a trip to the Pumpkin Patch at Moseley Meadows on Sunday, Oct. 2. Families are invited to pack a picnic lunch, and we will eat at Parkway Hills before heading to the Pumpkin Patch. Drinks will be provided.
Admission cost is $15 per child and $10 per adult. If Parkway Hills UMC can assist in paying for children or families, please email Haven. We would love for everyone to attend.

Do you love music? Do you sing in the car or in the shower? Then come make a joyful noise with us! The choir is meeting at a new time, (5:30 pm), and in addition to anthems for our Sunday morning worship, we are beginning to rehearse special music for the upcoming Christmas season. Join us in the choir room, (on the second floor of the Education Building), at 5:30 pm each Sunday evening.

Dr. Phil Maynard, author of Disciple Like Jesus, has been invited by the MS Annual Conference to host a one-day Leadership Summit on Saturday, October 15th from 8 to 4:30 at Crossgates UMC. Join other United Methodists to listen and learn together about how evangelism is not so much a plan as it is a way of life. Clergy and laity from across the conference will be leading breakout sessions, sharing real examples of ministries and ways that congregations are connecting with their communities and changing lives for Jesus Christ. This is not an event to miss. Cost is $25. Click here for more info and to register.
