Crews are currently pressurizing lines throughout the community and homeowners should expect irrigation water to be accessible by next week.
Keep a look out for more details on the irrigation start up process in upcoming mailings.
As the sprinklers fire up, we want to send a kind reminder that Mother Nature has provided significant moisture to your lawn during early spring. Our mainlines also run much deeper than residential lines. Given the risk of freezing temperatures, we suggest that you delay pressurizing your lines at this time.
Fertilization and aeration have been completed. For up-to-date information and timelines for everything from weed mitigation/spraying to mowing schedules, please visit our updated landscaping page.
Feel free to reach out to Travis with any questions at travis.green@rvrma.org.

Please be advised that weed spraying will take place in the Old Town, Settlement Neighborhoods and common areas on Monday, May 6 through Friday, May 10. These dates are subject to postponement due to weather. For more information on weed spraying in RVR click here.
Fertilization in the community has been ongoing using environmentally & pet friendly Alpha Lawn II Plus Iron.

April 22nd is Earth Day. When the first Earth Day took place in 1970, tens of millions of people took to the streets to demand that we clean up our environment. This outpouring of grassroots support for the earth led the government to create the Environmental Protection Agency and to establish the Clean Air and Clean Water Acts which are critical for environmental protection. We celebrate Earth Day as a reminder of the importance of saving the earth, fighting climate change, and finding ways to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle. The theme of Earth Day this year is "Planet vs. Plastics." What can you do? Reduce your use of single-use plastics like plastic bags, water bottles, straws, cups, utensils, dry cleaning bags, take-out containers, and any other plastic items that are used once and then discarded. Let's make every day Earth Day.
