Focused Ultrasound Foundation names Virginia Tech as a Center of Excellence

Michael Friedlander, Virginia Tech vice president for health sciences and technology and executive director of the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute at VTC will serve as chairman of the new Center of Excellence program, which will be co-directed by Jennifer Munson of the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute, Joanne Tuohy of the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, and Eli Vlaisavljevich of the College of Engineering.

Student-professor collaboration complements ultrasound education
