Soccer Starts Next Sunday in River Forest!

Youth Soccer & Basketball Camps Sign Up Today for Fenwick Youth Sports Camps Soccer & Basketball!  Fenwick boys' team photo from fall 2019. The 2020 Fenwick Soccer Training Program starts next Sunday, September 20th, from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. at the Priory in River Forest (Harlem Ave. at Division St.) and will run every Sunday afternoon through November 8th. First- through eighth-grade boys and girls are welcome! Cost is $160 per player. The camp is led by Craig Blazer, who has begun his second season as the Boys' Head Soccer Coach at Fenwick. Blazer also coaches boys and girls with FC United and was previously the Head Men’s Soccer Coach at DePaul University (2001-17) and worked as a National Team Coordinator at the United States Soccer Federation from 1994-2001. The Fenwick Soccer Staff and Players look forward to providing and a safe and fun environment for every soccer player to learn, develop technically, tactically, physically and mentally. Training Program: • Technical ball work • Possession activities • Small sided games We will ensure the safety of your child and follow all COVID-19 procedures, and a certified trainer will be on location. Please click on the button below for more details: Soccer Training Camp (Photos from 2019) Middle-School Boys Basketball Clinics begin in October (on Wednesdays and Saturdays) -- at the Fenwick gym in Oak Park and directed by Boys' Varsity Head Coach Staunton Peck. Cost is $25 per session. These skills clinics will help prepare participants for success this upcoming basketball season. Please note that per the guidelines issued by the State of Illinois, all activities will be lower risk (no scrimmaging and training only). Masks will be required to be worn at all times. There is potential for scrimmaging to be incorporated (not required) during the later clinic dates, and all parents will be updated if this change is planned. Click on the buttons below to sign up!
