Truman Scholarship "Sneak Peak" Webinar
ONIF is seeking rising JUNIORS for the Fall 2021 application cycle! The Harry S. Truman Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship for college juniors who plan to pursue careers in government or elsewhere in public service. Scholars receive up to $30,000 toward a public service-related graduate degree. Applications are due in December. Register.

Charley Pride Fellowship Program- Deadline: April 23! In the spirit of creating a more diverse and inclusive ball club by actively recruiting the best and brightest from diverse backgrounds, the Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation has created a 10 week paid internship program for juniors and seniors currently enrolled in an undergraduate program. A “Pride Fellow” will be able to select three departments of interest in which to work during their time with the Rangers. This person will be able to experience firsthand what front office executives experience daily while exposing them to the professional baseball industry. Areas of baseball operations include player development, scouting, marketing, analytics and beyond.
AIF Banyan Impact Fellowship (formerly AIF William J. Clinton Fellowship)- Deadline: April 30! The American India Foundation’s (AIF’s) Banyan Impact Fellowship is an interdisciplinary experiential learning program that places young professionals from India and the U.S. in service with development organizations in India. Through collaboration and capacity-building, Fellows and local communities exchange knowledge and skills to steer projects that advance social and economic development. Fellows learn about grassroots development and inclusive leadership. AIF provides Fellows with a living stipend, health insurance, professional development, mentorship, and programmatic benefits to enable their service. We are envisioning an in-person, on-the-ground Fellowship (tentatively departing in November 2021), but we are monitoring the pandemic’s progression closely, to ensure the safety of our host communities and our Fellows.
Black Girl 44 Scholarship- Deadline: May 1! Created by former Obama White House alum Deesha Dyer to encourage the pursuit of internships in politics and public service, this private and independent initiative will award ten $1,000 scholarships to Black/African-American undergraduate women who have earned an internship in politics or public service across the nation for Summer 2021.
Gilman-McCain Scholarships- Deadline: May 1! The Gilman-McCain Scholarship provides awards for child dependents of active duty service members who receive any type of Title IV federal financial aid (federal loans, Pell Grants, etc.) to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs. The application is currently open for in-person and virtual programs that start between May 1, 2021, to April 30, 2022. This cycle encompasses Summer 2021, Fall 2021, and Academic Year 2021-2022, and Spring 2022 programs. Contact ONIF for more information and application support.
San Francisco Fellows Program FY2021-2022- Deadline: May 2! The Fellows program is a unique opportunity to work and learn about public administration in local government while working full time as a City employee. Fellows work on various programs and projects that have a direct impact on City operations which spans a broad range of City functions and departments, involving analysis, planning, and program development. Fellows will earn an annualized salary of approximately $60,000, plus health, dental, retirement and other benefits. We invite people who have had an undergraduate degree conferred within the past 5 years to apply for this highly selective program. Specific areas of study are not required. We are looking for enthusiastic, creative, hard-working individuals who are interested in experiencing public administration in service of the City and County of San Francisco.
Carnegie Foundation Post-Baccalaureate Fellowship, 2021-23- Deadline: May 14! A paid, two-year appointment that provides recent college graduates with the opportunity to learn from and contribute to the Foundation’s efforts in the field of improvement science in education. Fellows serve in full-time appointments at the Foundation in Stanford, California, splitting their time among a home department, project placements across the Foundation, and fellowship work. The fellowship is cohort-based and supported by a Fellowship Director, an assigned internal mentor, and regular engagement in meaningful learning activities with peers in the program. Through this fellowship, Fellows gain a range of widely applicable professional skills, such as communications, group facilitation, collaboration, teamwork, and project management. Open to individuals who will have completed their bachelor’s degree within the past two academic years (December 2019–June 2021).

National Military Intelligence Foundation (NMIF) Merit Scholarship- Deadline: May 15! The National Military Intelligence Foundation (NMIF) is currently accepting applications for the annual NMIF Merit Scholarships to support students pursuing courses of study and formal degrees in intelligence studies and related disciplines including international relations. Open to undergraduate and graduate students.

D-Prize (Distribution Equals Development)- Deadline: May 16. D-Prize supports new entrepreneurs who can distribute proven poverty interventions. The world has already invented products and services to end poverty. Yet millions of people still don’t have access. Can you design a business or NGO that solves one of the Distribution Challenges below? We will award the most promising teams with up to $20,000 USD to launch a pilot version of your new organization wherever extreme poverty exists, with a goal to serve millions in the years ahead.

2021 Summer Fellowship for Teachers on Race and Housing in the Bay Area- Deadline: May 23. This (virtual) teacher fellowship will center around the theme of race and housing in the Bay Area. For the second straight year of this program, we will examine the region’s histories of racial dispossession and housing, the geographies they have created, and current policy and organizing work around housing justice. We invite K-12 teachers to join us as we delve into resources and materials developed by the Othering & Belonging Institute and others, hear from prominent local activists and community leaders, and craft meaningful curriculum to facilitate students’ understanding of these issues and engagement with how their communities fit into the broader regional and national picture.
EdSurge’s Voices of Change Writing Fellowship- Deadline: May 17. EdSurge is launching a new project to explore how school communities are adapting to meet the needs of all learners, particularly in response to the pandemic and the national conversation about racial identity and people's experiences with structural and systemic racism. The feellowship will bring together a cohort of educators to chronicle their school experiences throughout the year by publishing stories on EdSurge. Each fellow will be partnered with an EdSurge editor to work with every step of the way. Fellows will have the opportunity to work closely with their partner editor, become part of a community of educator fellows and have their voices amplified to drive important conversations about teaching and learning. Fellows should have an interest in sharing their stories through writing, but fellows needn’t be published authors or writers. We’re looking for all types of writers from experienced ones to first timers! The process of writing, editing and publishing a story is a unique and exciting professional growth opportunity. The fellowship will provide an honorarium of $5,000 for their time and hard work.

Ubisoft Women’s Film & Television 2021 Fellowship Program- Deadline: May 14! A six-month, non-exclusive, paid fellowship with the opportunity to learn first hand what goes into taking a project from conception to production. Fellows will have the chance to explore Ubisoft’s extensive library of IP as well as pitch original ideas based in the world, community and culture of video games for possible development. Additionally, participants will take part in a one-on-one mentorship with Ubisoft’s Film & Television leads and meet and learn from experienced entertainment executives across departments.

John P. Daly Summer Scholarships- Deadline: April 30! LMU's Center for Asian Business is pleased to offer summer scholarships for a virtual cultural immersion program offered by our sister Jesuit university, Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea.
