Join us for the EmpowHer Privateers Brunch and support our women Student-Athletes. The event begins with a reception and auction where local food vendors will serve sample brunch bites. Brunch will be followed by an aerial performance and keynote speech by Christine Van Loo, a 1991 graduate of the University of New Orleans. Other speakers include committee chair Dr. Stacy Nicklow, Student-Athlete Advisory President Alexa Spartz, and Vice President of Athletics and Recreation Tim Duncan.
EmpowHer Privateers is a New Orleans Athletics initiative to develop women leaders through intercollegiate athletics. The initiative aims to empower women student-athletes through scholarships; establish mentorships to positively impact them now and after graduation; and create dynamic experiences for travel throughout the U.S. and abroad.
