Athena in Action event connects graduate student women in philosophy with mentors
Meghan Sullivan, philosophy professor and director of both the Ethics Initiative and the Institute for Ethics and the Common Good, recently hosted the 2024 Athena in Action Workshop. The three-day networking and mentoring workshop brought together graduate students with women faculty mentors for substantive philosophical discussion and professional advice sessions.

Eimear Clowry Delaney appointed as Michael J. Smurfit Director of Notre Dame Dublin
Eimear Clowry Delaney has been appointed director of Notre Dame Dublin and officially assumed the role on July 1. Clowry Delaney will be responsible for implementing the University’s vision and global strategy in Ireland, as well as deepening Notre Dame’s relationships with Ireland’s premier universities and institutions of culture, government and industry.
