❤️ Did you know? In the late 1980’s, CATCH originally stood for “Child and Adolescent Trial for Cardiovascular Health.” This study – the precursor of the CATCH program you know today – was funded by the NHLBI, and was the largest school-based health promotion study ever conducted in the United States.

Free inclusion video series coming soon!

Video 1 is available now as a sneak peak, with the full series release coming in March. Pre-enroll in the series now to have it automatically added to your CATCH.org dashboard.
This series was made possible thanks to a grant from Special Olympics International. Special thanks also goes out to the William's Community School and the Northwest Family Branch of Austin YMCA.

| Wellness for Greatness, a Kenyan NGO, is collaborating with CATCH Global Foundation, Kenya’s Ministry of Education, Kenya Institute of Curriculum Development (KICD), and Nairobi City County to adapt the CATCH health education programs for use in Kenya and offer them to schools nationwide.
See our CATCH in Kenya page for more info, and photos from our team’s January visit to schools in Nairobi.

| Melanie Flink, PE teacher at Happy Valley Elementary School, is working to strengthen her school's PE program with CATCH GO Dough:
| |
| "I chose to use GO Dough to help increase my budget for school wellness with an all-in-one approach. GO Dough provides me greater flexibility with funds raised and offers a greater return than other fundraising programs. The setup process was easy; I wish I would have taken the leap sooner!"
| |
| Fundraisers in certain states also support their state SHAPE / AHPERD organization. (Happy Valley's fundraiser supports SHAPE Washington.) We’re thrilled to welcome SHAPE Arkansas as our 6th official GO Dough partner!

CATCH Promise Update
CATCH is going strong in our three current, grant-funded CATCH Promise districts – Hartford Public Schools, Lansing School District, and Edinburg CISD! Check out photos from Edinburg CISD’s CATCH Family Fun Event at Eisenhower Elementary earlier this month!
If your district is among the 100 CATCH Promise priority districts and interested in using CATCH as the foundation for a Whole Child approach to school health, let’s connect! CATCH Global Foundation removes logistical and financial barriers by supporting CATCH Promise districts through training, implementation, and securing grants.
Thanks to our current CATCH Promise funders – the Aetna Foundation, Michigan Health Endowment Fund, and Valley Baptist Legacy Foundation – for supporting child health and the CATCH Promise initiative!
