It’s already week 4 of the semester—time to think about getting formative feedback on your teaching via a midcourse evaluation or classroom observation. Submit a proposal to facilitate a faculty learning community in 2026-27, and engage resources to support your teaching growth.

The CTE offers two complementary services to support formative feedback on your teaching.
|
-
A Formative Classroom Observation
-
A formative classroom observation includes (1) an optional preliminary meeting with a CTE Faculty Teaching Associate (FTA) to discuss your instructional goals, (2) a visit to your class by the FTA to observe instruction, and (3) a follow-up meeting with the FTA to discuss and generate ideas. Available for in-person Oxford classes and for online classes from all campuses. Schedule yours today!
|
- A Midcourse Consultation
- Visit the Midcourse Evaluation page to learn about the process and choose a tool to collect the student feedback data you desire. Then, meet with a CTE Faculty Teaching Associate to review your students’ feedback and create an action plan.
