Let’s welcome back the Fighting Irish football team

“The Boys are Back!” Welcome the Notre Dame football team back to campus today at 2:00 p.m. (tentatively). Fans are encouraged to line the team bus route along the streets on campus to cheer on the Irish. Check here for arrival updates and how to welcome back the team safely.

Walk the Walk Week events

Join us for the 10th annual campus-wide observance of Walk the Walk Week from January 26 to February 1. This week-long series of University-, department-, and student-sponsored events designed to help us consider how we—both individually and collectively—can take an active role in making Notre Dame more welcoming and inclusive.

Walk the Walk Week Candlelight Prayer Service

There will be an opportunity for prayer and reflection as the University commemorates Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and renews its commitment to building the Beloved Community. 
Keynote reflections will come from Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, chief executive officer of Feeding America. President Rev. Robert A. Dowd, C.S.C., will be the presider.
The prayer service will be followed by a candlelight march to the Sacred Heart of Jesus statue and a dessert reception in the Center for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the LaFortune Student Center. All are welcome.

Walk the Walk Week Service Project—Donation Drive 

As part of this year’s Walk the Walk Week Service Project, please consider donating new supplies, including personal hygiene items, socks, waterproof gloves, winter hats, diapers, and more. Donations will be accepted through Tuesday, January 28. Find a list of requested items and dropbox locations across campus here.
