What if the solution to your parenting worries is this simple: Let go. We know — it sounds too good to be true. We promise — it’s not.
Join ParentMap and self-proclaimed “free-range” parenting advocate, Lenore Skenazy, on May 6 for our next ParentEd Talk. Discover how to raise confident, responsible and more independent kids — all while doing much, much less. Skenazy will share about her personal journey letting go of parental fear, offering a fresh take on breaking away from the pressures of hyper-involved parenting. Don't miss this chance to set yourself — and your children — free!

Ever since her viral column “Why I Let My 9-Year-Old Ride the Subway Alone,” Lenore Skenazy has promoted the idea that kids are safer and smarter than we think. The backlash sparked her Free-Range Kids movement and earned her the nickname “America’s Worst Mom.”
She’s appeared on “The Today Show,” “Dr. Phil,” and even starred in her own reality show, “World’s Worst Mom.” Today, she’s cofounder and president of Let Grow, a nonprofit promoting childhood independence. Previously, she was a reporter and columnist at the New York Daily News and New York Sun.
