Annual Meeting 12.19.2018 The RVRMA Annual Meeting will be held at the Ranch House on Wednesday, Dec. 19. Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will start promptly at 6 p.m.

John Moore, Book Signing RVR homeowner, John Moore, has a new book he’d like to share with you. It’s called, "A History of the Aspen Highlands Ski Area, Where Have All the Characters Gone?" This book chronicles the quirky history of Aspen Highlands.
John will be signing books at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 19. before the Annual meeting. "A History of the Aspen Highlands Ski Area, Where Have All the Characters Gone?" will be available to purchase for $29.95, cash or check only please.

| Jim Calaway
RVR resident and Roaring Fork Valley philanthropist, James C. Calaway, 87, of Carbondale, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at his home with his wife Connie by his side. Children's Holiday Party
The Ranch House will be hosting a children's Holiday party on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Parents can sip mimosas while the little ones decorate Christmas cookies, feast on yummy holiday-inspired snacks, and craft unique ornaments you will cherish forever! Santa will also be making a special appearance so your little ones can turn in their wish list!

Children's Winter Garland Workshop
Join us Saturday, Dec. 22, 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for a creative and festive morning with art teacher, Pam Porter! Participants will be making a beautiful garland craft using an assortment of bright papers, colored foil, ribbons, paints, stamps and other materials. Space is limited, so if you are interested please be sure to register! Registration deadline is Sunday, Dec. 16.

| Golf Update On Thursday night, Dec. 13, the RVR Master Association Board and Golf Advisory Committee held their fourth and final golf roundtable of the year. At all four meetings, homeowners asked thoughtful questions and engaged in meaningful dialog with the Board and Golf Committee.
About 15 homeowners attended each session. The audience was intentionally limited to make sure everyone attending had an opportunity to be heard.

Snow Removal Updates on Website Home Page
We are excited to introduce a wonderful new feature to the rvrma.org website. As pictured above, this new feature is located on the home page just below Ranch House hours and the mailbox icon. These snowflake icons will turn white when snow removal services have been deployed in each neighborhood that RVRMA is responsible for.

Martial Arts for All Ages!
Dan Dixon will be offering an introductory Soo Bahk Do class in December on Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 p.m. for 6+ year olds. Dan is also offering an adult stretching/intro to martial arts class Friday mornings in December at 6:30 a.m.
