A correction, as we made a call letter typo in our last issue (Columbus, Ohio): Before we dive into the latest news, we need to tell you about Denny Nugent's early retirement from Moody Radio in Chicago. Here's a synopsis of his career. Mr. Nugent began in radio at age 15 in July 1967 at WTCJ in Tell City. He did evenings. While in college (Indiana University), Mr. Nugent worked for WTCJ, WHON (Richmond) and for WTTS in Bloomington. After graduation, he moved to Richmond (WHON), becoming PD. Then it was off to Columbus, Ohio (WRFD, WTVN), Louisville, Kentucky (WHAS), Cincinnati (WKRC), Phoenix, Arizona (KOY), Cleveland (WGAR) then Moody Radio, where he became National PD in 2004.

On August 1, Heartland Media's CBS affiliate/WTHI-TV (Channel 10, Terre Haute) will launch a CW affiliate on their 10.3 subchannel. That means ION television will move from 10.3 to 10.4.
