We’re less than a month away from our first Faculty Development Quarterly Grand Rounds! We look forward to seeing you there. Our guest speakers from Yale University School of Medicine will share innovative frameworks for delivering feedback, drawing from their research and experience.

In this issue, we’re excited to introduce a new Faculty Spotlight series, which will focus on promoting student engagement and critical thinking. Our first feature highlights Ayoola Awosika, MD, a Teaching Excellence Award winner from the Department of Health Sciences Education and Pathology. Dr. Awosika shares strategies he adopts to increase learner involvement.

UICOM BRIDgE Workshop - Bias Reduction, Inclusion, Diversity, and a guide to Equity

In this 2-hour virtual workshop, participants will learn how to recognize and understand biases, foster diversity, reduce the impact of biases, create an inclusive environment, and challenge stereotypes.
