Advent with the Room In The Inn Community
December 25 | Christmas Day
|
by Howard Thurman (1899-1981),
an African-American theologian, educator, and Civil Rights leader
|
When the song of the angels is stilled,
when the star in the sky is gone,
when the kings and princes are home,
when the shepherds are back with their flocks,
the work of Christmas begins:
|
to bring peace among the people,
|
to make music in the heart.
|
Thank you for journeying with us this season. May each of us continue doing the work of Christmas--following the star along the way of hope, peace, joy, and love. And may that sacred light guide all of us home.
Merry Christmas!
