PICNIC TO FOLLOW IN NOTRE DAME STADIUM
Dear Faculty Colleagues,
As a new year begins, I invite you and your family to attend the campus-wide Opening of the Academic Year Mass and Picnic on Tuesday, August 27th. I hope that you will join me on this important occasion as we gather as a community, welcome new members, and ask for God’s blessing on the year ahead.
Mass will begin at 5:30 p.m. in the Purcell Pavilion of the Joyce Center. Faculty are invited to wear academic garb and participate in the academic procession at the start of Mass.
Following Mass, there will be a picnic in Notre Dame Stadium, where music and entertainment are planned. Additional information can be found here.
I look forward to seeing you as we mark the beginning of the new year.
