Through a successful partnership with the Ken-Caryl Community Network (KCCN) and community sponsors, we are excited to be able to offer the Family Fright Night and Haunted Trail as a free community event this year! This two-part event starts with the Family Fright Night at Dakota Lodge at 4 p.m. We will have spooky games, costume contests, and Halloween crafts for kids of all ages. This part of the event is perfect for your younger goblins who may not be interested in the Haunted Trail. Starting at 5:45 p.m., you can take the shuttle bus from Dakota Lodge up to Bradford Park for the Haunted Trail. The Haunted Trail is a not-so-spooky hike around the red rocks where families meet some local wildlife and learn about safety in the open space. As you hike around the trail, you will trick-or-treat for trail mix so be sure to come in costume. The Haunted Trail ends with hot chocolate, cider and s’mores by the campfire (fire conditions permitting).
