30-year mortgage rates are the lowest they have been since September of 2017. Freddie Mac recently reported that after a steady decline, 30-year fixed-rates have dropped to 3.82 percent. As a comparison, rates are nearly one percent lower than they were this time last year. These low rates are making purchasing a home much more affordable and are a perfect opportunity for people who don't currently own a home to enter the market.
